Vorier 200 mg is an azole antifungal agent used to treat yeast and fungal infections. Voriconazole 200 mg is used to treat fungal infections of the lungs that spread into the blood stream (invasive aspergillosis). Vorier tablet is also used for fungal infections of the mouth and, food pipe and throat that results in patching of the skin (esophageal candidiasis). Vorier tablet is used for yeast infections of the skin, stomach, kidney, bladder, and wounds. Voriconazole 200 mg tab is used to treat fungal infection due to Candida sp in non-neutropenic patients (patients without abnormally low white blood cell count), in serious fluconazole-resistant fungal infections due to Candida sp (including C. krusei) and in serious fungal infections caused by Scedosporium sp. or Fusarium sp. (two different species of fungi). It may also be used in life threatening and severe advancing fungal infections.
How it works?
Vorier tablet acts mainly by preventing the growth of fungi. Some medicines can cause unwanted or dangerous effects when used with Vorier tablet. Your doctor may need to change your treatment plan if you use any of the following drugs:

• Rifabutin, rifampin;
• St. John?s wort;
• Certain barbiturates (mephobarbital, phenobarbital);

How should I use Vorier Tablet?
Follow all directions on your prescription label. Do not use this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
Vorier may be given to you as an injection at the start of your treatment, or until you are able to take voriconazole 200 mg tab by mouth (orally). Injectable Vorier is given into a vein through an IV. You may be shown how to use an IV at home. Do not self-inject this medicine if you do not understand how to give the injection and properly dispose of used needles, IV tubing, and other items used to inject the medicine.
Injectable voriconazole is a powder medicine that must be mixed with a liquid (diluent) before using it. Prepare your dose only when you are ready to give an injection. If you cannot use the mixed IV medicineright away, store it in the refrigerator and use it within 24 hours. Do not freeze.

Store voriconazole tablets or liquid at room temperature away from moisture and heat. Do not store in a refrigerator or freezer. Keep the medicine bottle tightly closed when not in use. Throw away any unused liquidafter 14 days.
Use this medicine for the full prescribed length of time. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cleared. Skipping doses may also increase your risk of further infection that is resistant to antifungal medicine. Vorier tablet will not treat a viral infection such as the flu or a common cold.
Voriconazole tablets is sometimes given for up to several days after lab tests show that the infection has cleared. Very severe infections may need to be treated for several weeks.
While using Vorier, you may need frequent blood tests. Your vision and kidney or liver function may also need to be checked.
What happens if I miss a dose?
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.

Avoid exposure to sunlight or tanning beds. Voriconazole 200 mg can make you sunburn more easily. Wear protective clothing and use sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) when you are outdoors.
